Paulownia is a leafy tree native of Asia, whose peculiarity is its quick growth. Thanks to this, it allows to absorb up to 10 times more CO2 than the rest of the arboreal species. The various attributes of Paulownia lumber including the fact that it is lightweight, has a high strength-to-weight ratio, is resistant to decay has an even colour, and is stable (resistant to warping, twisting, etc.). Because of its characters, the Paulownia was applied in the manufacture of all kinds of furniture, surfboards, saunas, instruments, pieces for cars and boats, doors, and boxes, among others
